Art is a vehicle through which human beings cultivate distinct social, cultural and individual identities, while transmitting values, impressions, judgments, ideas, visions, spiritual meanings, patterns of life and experiences across time and space.

The significance of art will only be fulfilled by the description of it. Art comprises of a wide range of human imagination and art have inspired great work of literature and vice versa.

This is often achieved through sustained and deliberate study, training and/or theorizing within a particular tradition, across generations and even between civilizations. As Jackson Pollock said “In art, the hand can never execute anything higher than the heart can imagine.”Kala kusum is a platform for imagination and creativity of heart and soul.

Mr. Sujan Biswas’s best efforts have allowed for the growth and culmination of artworks from various artists into a collaborative platform.

Art is a meditation, a way of finding inner peace and a way to feel good, just like the breeze over the mountain, under cherry blossom tree. A creativity in heart can expressed with pencil and colours as it flows from heart to heart.
